Dr. Loekie Schreefel

Dr. Loekie Schreefel represents the research team of the Farming Systems Ecology group of Wageningen University. He collaborates with a diverse array of food system actors, such as farmers, industries, and policy-makers, to monitor, model, and explore the impact of regenerative agriculture across contexts and scales. His research focuses on designing, monitoring, and modelling resilient farming and food systems, more specifically regenerative agriculture, and circular food systems. Through collaborative efforts with these actors, he creates radical redesigns of today’s food system, forging regenerative pathways for future food production.
